Material: antique Japanese silk (kimono haori), antique Japanese cotton (aizome, kakizome), new cotton (Balinese and Javanese batik, Korean)

Statement: Again a star-based design, but simpler. I used only four colors: red, gray, brown, and blue-green. Using very narrow strips of three colors I made single log cabin strips, trying to create greater sensitivity. This took a great deal of time even before I began to assemble the log cabin blocks.
