Material: old cotton (kasuri kimono) new cotton (furoshiki, commercial)

Statement: At this time many of my students were making puff quilts in a very traditional manner. I wanted to show them that one could do something very new and interesting within that category. In particular, I choose to fill some of the puff's and leave some empty, which superimposes another pattern onto the design.
