Material: old silk, old cotton, new cotton (including hand-dyed)

Statement: The idea for this design came from one of the symbols of the Maori people which I observed in New Zealand. I adjusted the shape to create a feeling of waves. I was fortunate to obtain some very attractive red fabric while there, which seemed to fit into the design.
