Statement: I used more than one hundred kinds of kusakizome for the background, and superimposed antique kimono sash for the large, medium, and small diamond shapes. These shapes are moving leftwards.

Usually before I start making either a reversible or non-reversible quilt I have in my mind a complete image of the finished quilt, and have selected at least 95% of the fabrics which I will use. However, for this side I could not visualize the final result, so I had to make choices block by block, and could not relax until it was finished.
